Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Orthopaedic Therapy team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation process of patients on the ward. You will be responsible for delivering therapy sessions, managing patient caseloads, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work independently will enable you to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will require a technical qualification in a health-related field, such as NVQ Level III, or equivalent experience. Previous experience working with patients, particularly older adults, is essential. You must also possess a basic understanding of moving and handling principles, behaviour management, and physical disabilities.
