Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our thriving department at a well-established secondary school in West London. As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of confident communicators and critical thinkers.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong love of language and literature. You will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11), catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate effective English lessons that cater to all learners, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
  • Foster a love of reading and literature by introducing students to a wide range of texts, encouraging independent reading, and facilitating book clubs and literary discussions.
Requirements
  • A recognized teaching qualification and a successful track record of teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of literature and language in students of all abilities.
  • Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
