Lead Licensed Aircraft Engineer Opportunity

STS Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead Licensed Aircraft Engineer to oversee Line Maintenance activities at our Birmingham location. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements and provide technical guidance to allocated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a defined work zone, coordinating daily tasks and resources to meet targets.
  • Certify specific aircraft types.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to allocated staff.
  • Assist in individual development and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Part 66 Licence B1, B2, or B1/B2.
  • Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a technician.
  • Strong supervisory skills and commitment to STS core values.
