We are seeking a skilled Corporate Governance Officer to join our team at Companies House. In this role, you will provide high-level support to the Chief Executive and the Corporate Governance department, ensuring the smooth operation of boards and committees.

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting minutes of meetings and communicating decisions effectively
- Maintaining internal guidance and information on corporate governance arrangements
- Working closely with the Head of Corporate Governance and Chairs of committees
- Assisting in the regular review of Terms of Reference
- Coordinating agendas, papers, and meetings for boards and committees
- Delivering excellent Secretariat support to boards and committees

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized, professional, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative. You will also need to have a good understanding of the principles of good corporate governance and experience of operating flexibly and working at pace.
