About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced VAT Specialist to join our Indirect Tax team at KPMG-UnitedKingdom. As a VAT Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of VAT and indirect tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality VAT advisory services to a broad range of clients, including corporate and individual taxpayers.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop innovative solutions and opportunities for clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Assist in the implementation of business development initiatives, working closely with senior managers and directors.
  • Provide sales support, developing and maintaining key B2B and B2C client relationships.
  • In time, develop more junior members of the team from both a technical and commercial perspective.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of career experience in a professional background, such as law, teaching, armed forces, finance, or comparable areas.
  • The permanent right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to start the training in October 2024.
