Aldwych Consulting, a premier surveying and monitoring firm, seeks a highly skilled UK Monitoring Surveyor to lead our team in delivering top-notch monitoring services across the country. As a Monitoring Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and stability of critical infrastructure by conducting and managing monitoring surveys in emergency and planned situations.

You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to address survey requirements and ensure project objectives are met. With your exceptional skills in using advanced surveying equipment, you will collect and analyze survey data, generating comprehensive reports and presenting findings to project teams and clients.

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience. This comes with a 40-hour working week, opportunities for overtime, and a performance-based bonus. Our benefits include a 5% matched pension scheme, a fully equipped company van, state-of-the-art survey equipment, and necessary software.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monitoring surveys and assessments on infrastructure, focusing on emergency situations such as landslips.
  • Operate advanced surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS, and Laser Scanners, to capture precise measurements.
  • Analyze survey data, producing comprehensive reports and presenting findings to project teams and clients.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in monitoring surveying within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using modern surveying instruments and software.
