About the Role

Civitas Recruitment is proud to partner with a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Muslim donor community and collaborating with charities to create a lasting impact in the Islamic space.

The organization's mission is to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in community development projects, and we are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Managing Director.

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the charity's Donor Advised Fund in the UK, driving its growth and ensuring operational excellence.

This is a permanent full-time/part-time (min 3 days) role, with the flexibility to work from home within the UK and travel to Bradford at least one day a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and innovation in community development projects
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring operational excellence and effective project management
  • Build and maintain relationships with high net worth individuals, business owners, and leaders to secure funding and support
  • Represent the charity at functions, networking events, and presentations, articulating the organization's vision and mission
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine business and customer experience strategies
  • Ensure compliance with UK charity laws and regulations
Requirements

We are seeking an exceptional individual with:

  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to articulate the charity's vision and mission
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in driving growth and innovation
  • Knowledge of UK charity laws and regulations, with experience in budgeting, fundraising, and investment oversight
  • A passion for the charity sector and the Islamic landscape
