Job Title: Design Engineer

Celeros Flow Technology UK is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking computer-aided design (CAD) engineering activities across various end markets, including Nuclear, Defence, Oil & Gas, Water, Energy Transition, and Aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering activities on Project Execution on ETO and CTO contracts, and where applicable New Product Development and improvement initiatives specific for Nuclear, Defence, Oil & Gas, Water, Energy Transition, and Aftermarket.
  • Interpretation of customer specifications and international standards.
  • Work with Principal CAD Engineer and others within Engineering and other Facility functions in a collaborative manner to achieve project deliverables.
  • Provide CAD Engineering Technical support through the full product life-cycle from pre-award through design/make to in-service site support.
  • Undertake the full range of CAD and CAE Engineering tasks under supervision, including drafting/checking 2D detail drawings & 3D models to Company Standards, creation and checking BOMs, NCR Resolution Support, DFMA, relevant product and market CODE/Standards compliance (e.g., ASME, DEF-Stans etc).
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering and/or relevant CAD Engineering experience/training.
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • Ability to operate equipment and undertake the full range of CAD Engineering tasks with supervision to support project execution for Nuclear, Defence, Oil & Gas, Water, Energy Transition, and Aftermarket.
  • IT skills required for discipline-specific software (SolidWorks and limited AutoCAD).
  • Team working ability and an attitude of collaboration, and flexibility.
  • Willingness and confidence to communicate (written and presentation) with a professional and knowledgeable approach and manner to all levels, including Management, Shop-floor, as well as Customer and Supplier representatives.
