Optometrist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team at ASDA Opticians. With a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and service, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of putting our customers first.
As an Optometrist with ASDA, you will be fully supported in all aspects of your role, whether it's clinical or service-based. You will work closely with our in-store, regional, and home office teams to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and treatments to patients
- Develop new patient services and contribute to shaping the culture of the department
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent service levels
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, a registered performer with their NHS area team or health board, and MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining ASDA – funded and supported by us). They will also be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD and have a passion for delivering a memorable customer experience.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including discretionary company bonus, company pension up to 7% matched, and 10% colleague discount.
