At Bluebird Care, we offer a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our clients to provide the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medication to our clients, as required.
- Household Chores: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, cleaning, and cooking.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Meal Preparation: Cook and prepare nutritious meals for our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Naturally compassionate and caring individual
- Previous experience in care or a related field (not required, but beneficial)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic
- Competitive rates of £700 - £800 per week
- Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays
- Use of own vehicle for customer use, with 45p per mile reimbursement
- 28 holiday days per year
- Three meals a day or an allowance from the client
- Separate room to stay, with access to a TV and WiFi
