About the Job
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused colleagues to join our team at Tesco Cumbernauld Extra. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to our customers and contributing to the success of our store.
Salary and Benefits
The hourly rate for this position starts at £12.02, with the possibility of increased pay up to £13.15 for stores within the M25 area. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:
- Holiday starting at 20 days plus a personal day, rising to 22 days after 12 months (plus Bank holidays)
- Request flexible working from day one
- 10% off and 15% at pay day weekends – save up to £2,000 a year with your Colleague Clubcard

- Life cover of five times your pay and an award-winning pension with matching contributions up to 7.5%

Key Responsibilities
As a colleague at Tesco, you will be responsible for:
- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within my store
- Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required
- Putting into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve our customers brilliantly
- Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet the needs of customers at the right time

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering great service, building rapport with customers, and taking the initiative to make decisions that are right for our customers. You should be able to work well within a team, communicate openly with others, and build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit. Being on time, well presented, and ready to be a brand ambassador is also essential.
