Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Education Network Birmingham is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at an excellent SEMH school in Wolverhampton. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work closely with students who have SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, providing 1-2-1 support and small group interventions.

You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring young people who have faced barriers to education, acting as a positive role model and supporting the class teacher in managing classroom behaviours. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their academic success.

About the Role:

  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor/Classroom Assistant
  • Acting as a positive role model for students
  • Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours
  • Helping students to reengage with education
