The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to coordinate student finances for the Institute for Regeneration and Repair at the University of Edinburgh.

The post holder will work closely with staff to manage finances for honours, visiting, and postgraduate students, as well as postgraduate programs, including Masters by Research and PhD programs.

Key responsibilities include financial administration, organizational skills, and teamwork to achieve measurable goals within set timelines.

This is a full-time position, but we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns, including hybrid working arrangements.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A relevant vocational qualification and two years of relevant work experience, or school education to Standard Grade/National 5 (or equivalent) plus three years of relevant work experience.
  • Finance and/or administration experience in an office environment.
  • Proven experience of working effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and prioritize own work.
  • A proficient user of standard office systems, including MS Office and exceptional skills with MS Excel.
