At Language Empire, we are currently seeking a skilled Freelance Interpreter to join our team in Warwickshire. As an interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across different settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. We offer flexible working hours, allowing you to choose when and how much you want to work.

In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in interpretation and translation services. You will also have access to ongoing help and support from our dedicated in-house team, as well as continuous professional development opportunities.

We estimate that the average annual salary for this position is around £40,000-£60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered is advantageous
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
