Senior Regulatory Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our team at The Stephen James Partnership. As a Senior Regulatory Lawyer, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Legal and Director on high-profile matters, while also having the opportunity to work autonomously.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious regulatory, white-collar crime, investigations, financial regulation, or contentious competition experience. You will be responsible for assisting with the management of disputes, often by way of arbitration, advising the wider business on all elements of financial rules, and ensuring compliance with any changes of control and new investment or the appointment of new Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Legal and Director on high-profile matters
  • Work autonomously on key projects
  • Assist with the management of disputes, often by way of arbitration
  • Advise the wider business on all elements of financial rules
  • Ensure compliance with any changes of control and new investment or the appointment of new Directors

Requirements:

  • Trained at a recognized City Law firm
  • Experience in one of the following: white-collar crime investigations, general litigation, or arbitration
  • Competition or banking experience is a bonus
