Sales and Solutions Engineering Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our technical solutions program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing sophisticated solutions and engineering experience, with a strong ability to communicate and present information to technical, finance, and executive-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Sales and Solutions Engineering activities, particularly with hyperscale cloud and AI customers
- Support the Sales Team in all aspects of project development, including presales, contract negotiation, and client technical conversations
- Act as the technical single point of contact for clients, driving and managing client requirements and ensuring alignment with company business directions
- Participate in the RFP process with customers and collaborate with other departments to create business case analysis
- Provide accurate sales forecasting to the business and maintain a current understanding of the build schedule of all developments across EMEA
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to Solutions Engineering by building and growing the role to meet the needs of VDC and its customers
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, design architectural overviews, and assist with customer site visits
- Support the Sales teams in designing, positioning, and proving technology solutions, and articulate and conduct in-depth product feature benefit discussions
- Engage in detailed network, power, cooling, and space assessment of customer IT environments and prepare and deliver technical proposals and design architectural overviews
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent work experience
- Significant experience in Data Center Infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management
- Hands-on approach, teamwork, and cooperation, excellent organization skills, and a positive attitude towards assigned tasks
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and orientation to detail with the ability to see the big picture
- Excellent multitasking skills, ability to change priorities daily, inquisitive mindset, and ability to build and maintain relationships effectively
