Job Summary

This role will support Emerging Risk Fraud Strategies primarily in Digital products; Zelle/Wires/BillPay. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fraud strategies and ensuring proper risk controls are deployed adhering to best practices. Key responsibilities include providing recommendations on mitigation efforts, ensuring monitors are in place, self-creating initiatives as needed, and conducting defect reviews of 3rd party fraud loss cases to identify any gaps in Fraud strategy and/or procedural adjustments. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and validating fraud variables utilized in strategies, as well as project management where they will provide fraud requirements, testing, and development of strategies. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of fraud experience and/or 2+ years of analytical experience, with proficiency in SAS/SQL and Excel, and strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fraud strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with best practices
  • Conduct defect reviews of 3rd party fraud loss cases to identify gaps in Fraud strategy and/or procedural adjustments
  • Develop and validate fraud variables utilized in strategies
  • Provide project management support for fraud-related projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data insights and analysis that inform critical decisions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of fraud experience and/or 2+ years of analytical experience
  • Proficiency in SAS/SQL and Excel
  • Strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact with a high degree of professionalism with executive level personnel
