About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Affinity Search and Selection Limited. As a key member of our Innovation Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our company's New Product Development (NPD) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of efficient hardware solutions, from initial concept to test and production. Your duties will include:

  1. Designing and developing new electronic products and components.
  2. Creating schematic and wiring diagrams for new designs and design changes.
  3. Producing PCB designs using software and methodologies.
  4. Creating BOMs for new products and BOM changes.
  5. Writing and testing embedded software.
  6. Debugging and prototyping parts.
  7. Ensuring conformance to EMC Directive, RoHS, and WEEE.
  8. Producing production files for manufacture of new designs and design changes.
  9. Contributing to the formulation and upkeep of the NPD.

Stakeholder Management:

You will be working closely with various stakeholders, including the Innovation Team, Test Materials Team, Innovation Director, Project Team Leaders, Sales and Marketing, and Service and Calibration.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Substantial experience as an Electronic Engineer or similar role.
  2. Degree qualified or HND equivalent level of education in electrical or electronic engineering.
  3. Experience with PCB Design Package and PCB Design Methodologies.
  4. Experience with writing and testing embedded software.
