Disaster Recovery Technician

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Disaster Recovery Technician to join our team in East Anglia. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to join our team of experienced professionals in the field of disaster recovery.

• Prompt response to emergency calls for flood and water damage incidents
• Evaluation of damage extent, creation of comprehensive restoration plans, and implementation of restoration procedures
• Performance of water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes to reduce damage
• Removal of damaged materials, sanitization of affected areas, and coordination of repair activities
• Collaboration with insurance providers and adjusters to efficiently manage restoration claims
• Maintaining detailed documentation of restoration procedures, equipment used, and restoration results
• Adherence to health and safety regulations and industry best practices

• Proven experience as a Flood Technician or in water damage restoration
• In-depth knowledge of restoration procedures, equipment, and materials
• Ability to work efficiently and decisively in high-pressure emergency situations
• Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
• Certification in water damage restoration is an advantage
