Western Power is seeking an experienced Contract Manager (Facilities Maintenance and Fleet) to join our team at Perth Head Office on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

About this role

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall performance of assigned facilities maintenance and fleet services contracts.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of contract management plans that meet contractual requirements.
  • Review and approve contractor engagement deliverables, including safety and environmental risk registers, scope of work, specifications, drawings, and pricing schedules.
  • Ensure compliance to contractor plans, including safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and pricing schedules.
  • Verify and certify contractor claims, including progress variations and extended timelines.
  • Provide regular performance reporting to stakeholders.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in business, law, or commerce, or equivalent.
  • Contract management qualification.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
  • At least 10 years of significant contract management experience, including high-value and complex contracts.
  • Strong working knowledge of contract law and legislation.
  • Excellent technical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • A desire to implement change and innovation, both internally and through contract arrangements.
  • Strong experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
