About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team. As an Administrative Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required. You will also support the team with the management of projects, gathering information, and undertaking inquiries as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administration in an office environment, preferably in a healthcare setting. They will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of competency in keyboard and IT skills, and a good telephone manner. The successful applicant will demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and accountability, with a working understanding of confidentiality and data protection relating to patient information.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing agendas and minutes
  • Support the team with the management of projects, gathering information, and undertaking inquiries
  • Act as a lead administrator within the administration team, providing comprehensive support to the team with all processes relating to Local Resolutions and Appeals and Personal Health Budgets
Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
    • Significant administrative/secretarial experience, including initiating and maintaining office systems
    • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information
    • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
    • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act
    • Knowledge of NHS issues
  • Communication Skills:
    • Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry, and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users
    • Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task
    • Effective team working
    • Minute taking
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
