Job Title: Fund and Product Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund and Product Operations Associate to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Real Assets division, you will play a critical role in the operational planning and execution of new funds and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Fund and Product Operations Lead in achieving growth objectives for Real Assets and Private Markets.
  • Design and execute scalable and efficient operating models for new funds and products, meeting all stakeholder requirements.
  • Consider the impact of regulatory, tax, and other market developments on existing and new products.
  • Ensure relevant governance and agreements are updated to reflect changes to operating models.
  • Evaluate the suitability of the target operating model and collaborate with the Change team to enact updated procedures, processes, and systems.
  • Implement governance procedures, taking into account local regulations and advice received.
  • Coordinate and run launch board meetings.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new third-party service providers.
  • Drive the production of service level agreements with new service providers and establish suitable KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or similar).
  • Technical and operational knowledge/experience relevant to the role, such as open or closed-ended investment fund experience.
  • Experience of operations and finance in alternative/real asset investment funds and products across Europe.
  • Resourceful with highly developed problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions to issues that arise.
