Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver/Valet to join our Volkswagen branch in Wishaw. As an Arnold Clark team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.

• Clean and prepare vehicles for sale and stock, adhering to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Operate a high-powered pressure washer to clean vehicle exteriors and a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo interiors.
• Use a polishing/buffing machine to enhance vehicle bodywork and maintain equipment and machinery in good working order.
• Comply with health and safety procedures when working with chemicals and report any defects or issues.
• Work to set timeframes and targets, completing a daily record of work completed and undertaking other duties as required.

• Full UK driving licence
• High level of attention to detail
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to participate in training programmes
• Valet experience is preferred, but training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria.
