Technical Illustrator

Job Description:

At Solution 47, we are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team and work with our client near Sawston on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings using AutoCAD and other computer software. These detailed drawings will be used by the building projects team and will include foundational details, schedules, and materials.

Our client may be open to training the right person who shows a passion for this industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use computer-aided design software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings

• Calculate dimensions and material requirements

• Edit technical drawings based on the recommendations of project engineers and architects

• Outline the project's construction process on the technical drawings

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Passion for the construction industry and willingness to learn and develop skills
