We are recruiting for a highly motivated and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our Academy in South Chesterfield. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Science and experience teaching all aspects of the subject to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning and curiosity in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Cover the full Science curriculum, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in all three scientific disciplines
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject
  • Experience teaching Science across all three disciplines at the secondary level
  • A strong understanding of the KS4 curriculum

Salary: £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
