About the Role

This hybrid position involves designing and implementing high-quality cosmetics for in-game characters, working closely with art and design teams to develop new concepts that align with the game's themes and player preferences. The successful candidate will create detailed 3D models and textures using industry-standard software such as Maya, Blender, or ZBrush, ensuring visual fidelity while optimising assets for performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and create clothing items, accessories, and props for in-game characters adhering to the established art style and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with art and design teams to brainstorm and develop new cosmetic concepts.
  • Generate concept art and gather mood boards to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Create detailed 3D models and textures using industry-standard software.
  • Optimise assets for performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders and playtesting sessions.
Requirements
  • Strong portfolio of artwork demonstrating exceptional creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
  • Clear knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing software.
  • A thorough knowledge of PBR.
  • Experience utilising online asset libraries to speed up workflows.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, optimisation techniques, and technical requirements.
