Job Description

We are recruiting for a skilled Sales Ledger and Billing Officer to join our finance team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Group achieves cash collection targets and minimises debts of concern.

Responsibilities:

  1. Raise sales invoices in line with customer invoicing terms using systemised billing setup.
  2. Chase local authority accounts for payment of invoices and address queries.
  3. Allocate cash received against the ledger.
  4. Reduce current debtor days on the ledger to agreed target per customer per region.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to network at all levels.
  • Proven proficiency using Microsoft Word packages.
  • Experience within a similar role and chasing Local Authorities for payments.
