Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of SAP assessments and EPCs to ensure clients achieve compliance with Part L and EPCs are issued in a timely manner
  • Providing expert and professional advice to construction professionals on products, systems, and applications within the built environment
  • Producing Fabric heat loss calculations such as U-values and thermal bridging
  • Heat and moisture analysis
  • Energy assessments of new-build dwellings using the 'Standard Assessment Procedure' and the 'Future Homes Standard: Home Energy Model'

Requirements:

  • Qualified OCDEA with experience in the built environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and other members of staff
  • Experience in writing sustainability reports and strategies
  • Knowledge of planning and Part L building regulations
