Job Overview

Murray McIntosh Associates Ltd seeks an experienced Project Engineer to oversee water infrastructure management projects. This role requires a deep understanding of project lifecycle, collaboration with supply chains, and adherence to industry standards.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in MEICA/M&E/Electrical engineering, preferably with experience in the water industry (minimum 2 years). The ideal candidate will possess a full UK driving license, mechanical/electrical qualifications (BTEC/HNC/ONC/BEng), and certifications such as CSCS, SSSTS, Confined Spaces, and EUSR - Water Hygiene Card.

Responsibilities
  1. Project Oversight: Collaborate with the Thames supply chain, overseeing multidisciplinary professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Design Review: Review and manage design outputs to ensure alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Risk Management: Identify and address project risks, consistently upholding safety, health, and environmental standards on-site.
  4. Progress Reporting: Prepare project progress reports, maintain detailed project records, and support the compilation of close-out documentation.
  5. Budget Tracking: Track project budgets and expenditures, providing cost analyses to ensure resources are used effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Water industry experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (BTEC/HNC/ONC/BEng)
  • CSCS, SSSTS, Confined Spaces certifications
  • EUSR - Water Hygiene Card
