Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading cages and pallets across ambient, chilled, fresh, and frozen products.
  • Handling paperwork to support drivers and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Verifying load sheets to ensure correct pallets of goods and cigarettes correspond to customer orders.
  • Securing loads and verifying all relevant paperwork before departure.

Delivery and Customer Service:

  • Maintaining excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Reporting any delivery-related challenges to the operations team.
  • Documenting any damages upon delivery to customers.
  • Obtaining customer signatures on receipt of deliveries.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards.
  • Meeting targets and job standards set by the logistics manager.
  • Performing other reasonable requests as required.
  • Dealing with customers directly and providing exceptional service.
  • Supporting the logistics manager with any reasonable requests.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company's H&S Policy.
  • Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
