About the Role

Job Title: Project Estimator

Location: Beith, KA15 1LY

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum, DOE

Contract: Full-time, permanent (Monday-Friday)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our team at Burnhouse Engineering & Fabrication Ltd. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for engineering projects, working closely with our team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates for engineering projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data for estimates
  • Prepare and present estimates to clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project estimation and cost control
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software
