North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a responsible and community-minded individual to provide a safe and efficient school crossing service to children and their parents/guardians.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of road use and traffic awareness, and will be able to use their judgment to determine when it is safe to stop traffic and allow pedestrians to cross the road.

The presence of a School Crossing Patrol has numerous benefits, including encouraging parents and children to walk to school, promoting environmental and health benefits, and improving safety on the site.

The duty times for this role cover the period before school opens in the morning and the period after the school closes in the afternoon.

Good verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be interacting with parents, children, and other road users.

This is a term-time only position, and the times on patrol are AM - PM.
