Job Description

We are seeking experienced part-time educators to provide academic support to students outside of mainstream school settings. This role involves working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and requires a strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN and possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tuition to students in a one-on-one setting or small group sessions
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Work collaboratively with parents and other educational professionals to ensure seamless support for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt instruction accordingly

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or a related field (or equivalent qualifications)
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
  • Understanding of various learning styles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
