About the Role

This is a key position where you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to initiate production cycles, adjusting settings as needed, and feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up machines for production, including calibration and cleaning
  • Control and adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts using precision tools and measurement equipment
  • Test machine operation periodically to ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during production
  • Monitor output for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including approved and defective units
  • Operate forklift to move raw materials, semi-processed goods, and finished products
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a machine operator or in a related field
  • Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools
  • Understanding of production procedures and protocols
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform job duties
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
  • Valid forklift operator's license (desirable)
