Senior Paraplanner Job Opportunity

Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paraplanner to join a successful IFA Financial Planning business based in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable and modern Financial Planning company that offers a unique approach to financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and the employee benefit market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse information and conduct research to produce articulate and appropriate suitability reports.
  • Interpret data obtained by IFAs during client meetings and use research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Provide records to support research undertaken and consolidate client needs and objectives, together with recommendations and course of action in a written format via suitability reports, client-specific illustrations, and key features documents.
  • Carry out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures and prepare existing client files ready for reviews.
  • Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis and propose and draft financial solutions that meet each client's goals, needs, and objectives.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a Paraplanning role for a financial planning organisation.
  • Clear understanding of the financial planning process and ability to produce professional and technical reports to support the advice process.
  • Able to work within defined business processes and achieve agreed outcomes without supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and the workload of the Paraplanning team, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
  • Good level of technical knowledge of investments and Pensions advice, Level 4 Diploma qualified in financial planning, and high level of Investment and Pension knowledge.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook, and a natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
  • Good understanding of compliance issues, reliable, tolerant, and determined, keen for new experience, responsibility, and accountability, and able to get on with others and be a team-player.
