About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuary to join our Portfolio Underwriting team at Ki Insurance. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our commercial and strategic approach to Casualty Treaty pricing.

As a Commercial Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for carrying out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals, providing challenge and direction. You will also manage, maintain, and develop the deal-level pricing model(s), including documentation and relevant regulatory reporting/communication.

This is a fundamental role in the actuarial team, working closely with Underwriters to embed actuarial insight and innovative solutions into our commercial approach. You will support the SME Underwriters through expert technical and commercial pricing knowledge, adding input into the strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals
  • Manage, maintain, and develop the deal-level pricing model(s)
  • Provide challenge and direction to Underwriters
  • Support the SME Underwriters through expert technical and commercial pricing knowledge
  • Develop class-specific management information and insight
