As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:


Main Responsibilities:



  • Safely operate a HGV vehicle and handle palletised packages to sub depots.


  • Emphasise safe driving practices and ensure precise documentation.


  • Complete 3-4 runs on an average day.


  • Contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.


  • Engage with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.



Requirements:



  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).


  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.


  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).


  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.


  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.


  • Excellent communication skills.


  • A safety-first mindset.
