About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Education and Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at the Dyson Neonatal Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on educational provision and quality improvement initiatives, working closely with our nursing workforce to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize education and quality improvement needs across the neonatal service
- Develop and implement effective training programs, workshops, and simulation-based training to enhance neonatal healthcare professionals' knowledge and skills
- Lead on quality improvement initiatives, coaching individuals and teams to embed continuous improvement in their daily work
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop action plans addressing areas requiring improvement, aligned to key performance indicators
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife registered with the NMC
- BSc in Nursing
- MSc or equivalent leadership/management-related qualification
- Qualification in Teaching and Assessing in Practice or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Post Graduate Certificate of Education
- Formal quality improvement qualification (Lean Green Belt certification)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft products, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
