Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Assistant Apprentice to join our team at EPPH Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, reconciling them to purchase orders on our business CRM system.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Setting up new suppliers while maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, raising queries, and chasing Project Managers and Suppliers.
  • Payment runs.
  • Issuing monthly remittances to external Suppliers.
  • Processing staff business expenses.
  • Processing business credit card transactions.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Credit card reconciliations.
  • Sending monthly CIS statements to subcontractors.
  • Sending customer statements.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team environment, and be willing to learn all aspects of the accounting function in a fast-paced environment. A Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard is essential for this role, along with English and maths qualifications if required.

EPPH Ltd offers a competitive salary of ££22,000 - £25,000 per annum, Monday to Friday working hours, and 30 minutes for lunch. If you are a motivated individual looking to develop your skills in financial services, please apply.
