We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Art Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead and manage the Art department, delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons to students.

The Role:

  • To lead and manage the Art department, delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • To contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses cultural understanding and communicative competence.
  • To employ innovative teaching methods and resources, including interactive technology, authentic materials, and cultural activities, to create a stimulating and immersive learning experience.
  • To play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their wellbeing and personal development.

Candidate Profile:

  • You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Modern Foreign Languages education.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Art, with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of Art language and culture.
  • Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
