MFL Curriculum Lead

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join our team at Harris Invictus Academy. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of our students.
The salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including a Performance and Loyalty Bonus, Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions, and many other perks.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing your own work, working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality education to our students. You will also contribute to the development of our curriculum, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing effective strategies to improve outcomes.

- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students, working closely with colleagues to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- To communicate positively with parents, carers, and other external agencies where necessary.
- A relevant undergraduate degree and QTS (or equivalent).
- Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including experience in multi-ethnic urban schools.
- An understanding of the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning.
- An ability to work as part of a team and develop positive relationships with all staff.
- A good level of ICT skills, including innovative use of interactive whiteboards.
- An ability to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students.
