As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will lead the nursing and quality function across the Directorate, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care meets the required standards. Your expertise in strategic leadership and quality improvement will drive service transformation, enhancing patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to improve quality of care, quality assurance, safeguarding, and direct care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Service Director, Clinical Director, and Senior Management Team to ensure consistency of standards and maximize learning from serious incidents, complaints, audits, research, and national guidance.
- Contribute to the performance of the directorate senior leadership team in meeting agreed goals and objectives, ensuring accurate quality information and robust risk management systems.
- Drive necessary service transformations with the Service Director and Clinical Director.
- Implement the nursing strategy by providing leadership at service level.
- Work with others to implement and monitor outcomes of quality improvement initiatives within the service.
- NMC registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Masters or working towards or able to demonstrate ability to work at Masters level.
- Significant experience at a senior nursing level in a mental health Trust.
- Evidenced experience of leading on a QI project that led to sustained change in outcomes for service users and carers.
- Experience of managing and delivering to deadlines and within resources.
- Experience of partnership working with service users and carers.
- Knowledge of QI methodologies.
- Able to think laterally, interpret data, and synthesize complex information.
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment to ensuring services meet the needs of service users and carers and are delivered with multi-cultural sensitivity.
£80,000 - £100,000 per annum.
