Package Engineer Role Description



We are seeking a skilled Package Engineer to join our team at The Post At Mint Hill Llc. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and management of sub-contractors employed in various trades within our area of works.



This role requires a high level of interfacing between internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, Sub-contractors, Client agents, Clerk of Works, and Site Staff. Your primary focus will be on coordination and management of sub-contractors, ensuring SRM obligations are understood and discharged.



You will also be responsible for organizing and conducting regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, quality, and safety. This information will be used to update the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director on all issues.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and manage sub-contractors
  • Ensure SRM obligations are understood and discharged
  • Organize and conduct site progress meetings with sub-contractors


Requirements:



  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven working experience in package management
  • Experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
  • Professional membership in a construction industry-related association (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, IStructE, etc.)
