Our team consists of 4 museums, 14 libraries, and multiple learning spaces, offering comprehensive services to healthcare staff through partnerships with 6 NHS Trusts.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training and Clinical Support Librarian to join our team at the UCL Cruciform Hub. This full-time role involves delivering information skills training to staff and students at University College Hospital Foundation Trust, promoting library services and resources to healthcare professionals, and providing expert mediated search services. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a health or medical library, proven track record in delivering training on healthcare knowledge resources, expertise in conducting mediated literature searches, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for the right individual to make a real impact in the field of healthcare librarianship. As a Training and Clinical Support Librarian, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the service, leveraging new technologies and resources. You may also spend time working outside of the library environment with NHS staff in their workplace.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including 27 days annual leave, hybrid and flexible working, and the ability to buy additional annual leave days.
