Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Paediatric Senior Team as a Paediatric Recovery Team Lead. Located in Southampton, this role offers the chance to work with a wide variety of patient groups, including Adult, Cardiac, and Neuro patients.

About the Role:

  • To provide skilled expertise and care to children in the post-anaesthetic phase, and support junior team members and students to provide the same.
  • To provide compassionate and fair leadership to a pastoral team (Band 2-5), which will require knowledge of and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
  • To periodically undertake the Recovery co-ordinator role, which involves managing staffing, patient flow, and patient deterioration across all 6 Recovery zones (including holding emergency bleep).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of significant Paediatric Recovery experience
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise time effectively
  • Evidence of commitment to high standards of patient care and service improvement.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £62,000 - £72,000, dependent on experience. This figure includes the opportunity for bonus payments and career progression within the organisation.
