About the Role

The GAP Group is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Plant and Tool division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and delivering heavy plant equipment to customer sites
  • Collecting equipment from customer sites and returning it to our depot
  • Conducting hire equipment demonstrations and ensuring all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately
  • Driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites
  • A Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Recent experience of towing trailers is essential
  • An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
