Overview


We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a leading design, engineering, and project management organization, we connect people, data, and technology to transform the world's infrastructure and energy systems.

About the Role



  • Cost planning and estimation across the lifecycle of your projects
  • Producing estimates and budget reviews across a wide range of sectors
  • Collecting data, analysing, and defining the needs of our clients and stakeholders
  • Producing Analysis and Benchmarking Reports that promote value for money and identify & define trends and cost drivers
  • Ensuring reported data is accurate and kept up to date
  • Championing innovation within our organisation as well as on the client-side
  • Liaising with cross-function teams to develop ideas for continuous improvement
  • We have a strong presence in Network Rail and National Highways, and a growing presence in MOD, Nuclear and renewables. Experience in these sectors is desirable.
  • NEC and FIDIC experience are desirable.

Your Skills and Qualifications



  • Familiar with commercial roles and functions for large capital programmes
  • Preferably experienced in UK complex infrastructure sector clients
  • Good communication skills, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Good stakeholder management skills and client-facing attributes
  • Data analysis: Good analytical skills and mathematical skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Commercial focus: shaping investment decisions based on value for money of various options
  • Workload planning and prioritisation: providing regular progress reports to keep stakeholders informed
  • Ability to present and prepare outputs easily understood by others, from senior to junior stakeholders

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 'Total Reward,' which can be tailored to your changing lifestyle, career, and personal needs.
