About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Doctor to join our team as a Registrar in Emergency Medicine at Whipps Cross Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Emergency Medicine or allied acute care, with at least 3 years of clinical experience. Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for working as a Registrar / ST3+ level in the Emergency Department at Whipps Cross Hospital. This will involve providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of clinical skills and knowledge. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical audit and teaching junior doctors, medical students, and nurses.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, with a MB ChB or equivalent qualification. They will also have full MRCEM or equivalent, and full GMC Registration. A MRCP or MRCS qualification is desirable. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant hospital experience, with at least 12 months in Emergency Medicine. They will also have a good understanding of ALS/ATLS/APLS principles and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be required to work shifts and flexible hours, including overnight shifts.
