Job Title: Supported Housing Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supported Housing Services Manager to join our team at Gloucester City Homes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure effective service delivery, performance, and future development of our Specialist Housing Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership of our Supported housing function, including temporary homeless, specialist supported, and young person supported housing schemes.
  • Lead on Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse, and Hate Crime initiatives.
  • Foster and maintain key strategic partnerships to support and raise the profile of an effective specialist housing service.
  • Develop and implement robust policy and operational practices to drive service improvement and valued customer outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Team leads and the wider management team to ensure the success of the service approach and a strong focus on Service offer and commitment to effective and inclusive services.
  • Continuously develop the use of 'customer insight' data to drive forward service improvement and valued customer outcomes.
  • Ensure the provision of joined-up and tailored housing-related support to customers with vulnerabilities and complex needs.
  • Accountable for the production and delivery of KPIs focused on delivering effective and efficient services, including Voids & Lettings, ASB, Income Collection, Health and Safety actions, and satisfaction producing high-quality business performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Housing-related qualification (e.g., HNC in Housing) and a relevant Management qualification (e.g., ILM 5).
  • IOSH qualification or similar.
  • Proven experience of successfully leading, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Proven understanding and experience of delivering statutory/non-statutory homeless and specialist housing services.
  • Experience of working with complex and chaotic lifestyles cohorts to support and foster the team to deliver success outcomes.
  • Experience of the Social Housing Sector and delivery of core homeless services together with continuous service improvement.
  • Experience of using insight reports and/or interrogating systems to understand data and insight and develop corresponding service improvement plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and an ability to understand the needs and perceptions of different stakeholders.
