Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at 3d Personnel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within our organization are adhered to.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with work equipment, operations, and other hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Investigate Incidents: Document, investigate, and recommend improvements to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Develop and Maintain Health and Safety Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and have the necessary skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Collaborate with External Experts: Work with external health and safety consultants to provide training programs and health and safety services to our organization.
  • Chair Health and Safety Committee Meetings: Develop agendas, chair meetings, and formulate and distribute minutes to ensure all action points are completed within deadlines.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Legislation: Remain current with all aspects of relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business.
  • Provide Regular Reports: Submit regular reports to the Human Resources Manager, Board of Directors, and Senior Management Team on relevant health and safety activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in health and safety management
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
